Where can I send an OurParcel courier to collect from?

OurParcel couriers can be sent to collect on your behalf from any shop, warehouse, farm, supplier, etc. in the Derbyshire area that offers click and collect. It could be any business located within Derbion shopping center and its surroundings, Wyvern retail park, Meteor Centre Derby, Kingsway Retail Park, Park Farm shopping center, Oakwood District Centre, St Mary’s Retail Park, Royal Glen Park, The Albion Centre. Businesses such as Costco wholesale, Tesco, One Stop, Booker wholesale, B&Q, ASDA, Boots, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Co-op, The Food Warehouse/Iceland, Toolstation, Screwfix, Euro Car Parts, or simply to collect your parcel in a locker or shop, etc. you are in the driving seat at the comfort of your home.

What type of things does OurParcel collect?

We collect almost anything that includes, but is not limited to, groceries, tools, flowers, alcohol, non-frozen or chilled medications, laundry, parcels in lockers or shops, urgent documents, gifts, etc. and remember you get one free extra collection. It could be something extra you want in the same shop or a different one, or simply you want to do something nice for your neighbour by asking them if they want anything in the shops.

What other services does OurParcel offer?

We offer regular pickup and drop-off courier services in Derby. For example, you can request an OurParcel courier to pickup something you no longer need and drop it off at the Household Waste and Recycling Centre (HWRC) on your behalf. However, you must inform HWRC first before requesting the courier to let them know we will be dropping it off on your behalf. We can help with moving using small cars. As your personal courier, you can use us for your daily pickups and drop-offs. And here’s an exciting thing: if you request an OurParcel courier to pick up from your current location, you are still entitled to another free pickup from you, anyone in your household, or your neighbour to drop off on the way.

What type of vehicles do OurParcel couriers use?

We currently use small cars (e.g., Hyundai i10/Peugeot 106). They can carry small and medium items up to 20 kg, with a combined total of up to approximately 200 kg. You must make sure that your additional free collection is small enough to fit in a small car alongside your initial collection.

Are OurParcel courier partners insured with Goods In Transit (GIT) insurance?

Yes. OurParcel courier partners are insured with GIT insurance that can cover a combined total of up to £10,000 in damages. Your goods are in safe hands with us. Please note that your first and second collections are seen as one, and therefore are both covered within the £10,000. We recommend you get additional insurance if your goods go above £10,000 in value.
